following courses

(7) Computer Science 
(8) Environmental Studies/Surveying 
(9) Geology/Geophysics

(11)Mass Communication/Journalism 
(12)Mechanical/Metallurgy and Material Engineering 
(13)Human Medicine/Dentistry/Pharmacy 
(14)Petroleum Engineering 
(15)Electrical/Electronic Engineering

How to apply 
(1) To apply, you would need the following scanned documents

-Passport photograph with white background not more than 200kb 
-Your current university ID card 
-Admission letter 
-Birth certificate 
-O'level result and 
-Jamb result

(2) An active email address and phone number - shortlisted candidate would be contacted through these medium. 
(3) Visit <a href="http://www.scholastica.ng/schemes/cnlawards">here</a> and click on register. Supply the required information and you will receive a confirmation mail. 
(4) Follow the link in the mail to proceed with registration. 
(5) Complete the registration process and have your HOD sign a printed copy of your profile. 
(6) Upload the signed document and make a final submission.

Google's Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship

As part of Google’s ongoing commitment to furthering Anita’s vision, we are pleased to announce The Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Through the scholarship, we aim to encourage women to excel in computing and technology, and become active role models and leaders in this field. The Scholarship Google Anita Borg Scholarship recipients will each receive a €7,000 (or equivalent) award for the 2014-2015 academic year. A group of female undergraduate and graduate students will be chosen from the applicant pool, and scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of each candidate's academic background, passion for increasing the involvement of women in computer science, and demonstrated leadership. All scholarship recipients will be invited to attend an annual Google networking retreat in 2014. 
Who can apply? 
To be eligible to apply, applicants must: 
Be a female student currently 
enrolled at a university for the 
2013-2014 academic year 
Intend to be enrolled in or accepted as a full-time student in a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD program at a university in Europe, the Middle East or Africa for the 2014-2015 academic year 
Be studying Computer Science, 
Computer Engineering, Informatics or a closely related technical ﬁeld. 
Maintain a strong academic record

NDDC FOREIGN SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 2014

INTRODUCTION 
As part of our Human Resource Development initiative, NDDC is embarking on Foreign Post-Graduate Scholarship Scheme to equip Niger Deltans with relevant training and skills for effective participation in the local content programme of the current administration as well as compete globally in various professional fields. The Scheme is for suitably qualified applicants with relevant Bachelor's/Master's Degrees 
from recognized Universities in the following professional disciplines: 
Engineering 
Medicine (M.sc. Public Health Excluded) 
Computer Science/Technology Geology 
Geosciences 
Environmental Sciences 
Agriculture
Applicants must have gained Post Graduate admission into a recognized university abroad.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
First Degree with minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division for those  wishing to undertake a master’s Degree programme and a good Master’s Degree for PhD candidates from a recognized University. 
Applicants must have gained Admission into a Post Graduate Programme in any of the listed disciplines in a foreign University. 
Applicants who have already enrolled in overseas' universities are NOT eligible to apply. 
Bond of good conduct from any of the following persons from the applicant’s community/clan.
a. Member of National Assembly 
b. Chairman of the LGA. 
c. First class traditional ruler. 
d. High Court Judge 
Persons with evidence of cult membership or criminal record shall not be considered for the award. 
Applicants must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service
MODE OF APPLICATION 
Application must be made On-line at the Commission’s website: with the following attachments:
Recent passport photograph 
Local Government identification letter. 
Post Graduate (PG) admission letter from Oversea Universities. 
Relevant degrees from recognized Universities. 
NYSC Discharge Certificate
1. Successfully completed applications will be assigned a registration number automatically. 
2. Print the hard copy of the on-line generated acknowledgement for ease of reference. 
3. All shortlisted applicants will be posted on NDDC website.

Select your preferred program i.e. masters or Phd and proceed with registration.
